Why have we updated our PE uniform?

The new PE uniform has been introduced to:

  • Provide a practical, unisex style suitable for all students
  • Create greater consistency across our school uniform
  • Improve comfort and performance through the use of modern, sweat-wicking fabrics

These changes have been made to ensure students are comfortable, confident and ready to participate fully in PE and sporting activities.

New PE Uniform Trial for Year 7 Students from September 2026

From September 2026, students joining Year 7 will be able to wear the new PE uniform to school on days when they have PE timetabled. On all other days, the standard school uniform must be worn. This trial will apply to Year 7 students only.

The approved PE uniform consists of: Plain navy stadium pants (open hem), Navy PE polo shirt with embroidered or heat-transfer school logo, Navy ¼ zip sweatshirt with embroidered school logo and trainers. All items must meet the specification, and alternative PE clothing will not be permitted.

Students who wish to change after PE lessons, or who require a change of clothing due to wet weather, should bring either their school uniform or a spare set of approved PE kit.

Transitional period for years 8-11

We have updated our PE Uniform. However, we do not expect families to replace the current PE Uniform until it has either been outgrown or needs replacing. There will be a transitional period as we move to the unisex style.
