Applying to Sixth Form

Gillingham Sixth Form – Admissions Policy

For students joining us from another school only (for students already attending Gillingham School, please see ‘Current Gillingham School Applicant’ section below)

Upon receipt of your application:

  • A reference will be requested from your current school
  • You will be contacted with an invitation to attend an online interview with a member of the Sixth Form Leadership Team
  • A formal offer of a place in our Sixth Form will be made once your application has been assessed and upon receipt of your reference.

If you have applied and were unable to attend the Open Evening, we can arrange for you to visit and have a tour of the school.  Please email jstirk@gillingham-dorset.co.uk to arrange this.

If you are currently attending Gillingham School and wish to make a late application, please in the first instance email cdacombe@gillingham-dorset.co.uk and we will send you a link to the internal application form.  Thank you
