Cover Supervisor

Required from September 2026, a Cover Supervisor to join our School. Candidates must be enthusiastic, committed and enjoy working with young people. This is an opportunity to join a successful school with a good working environment. No previous experience of working in a school is required. This is can be a valuable opportunity for anyone considering teaching as a future career. As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise the whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring that students remain on task with the work set. This role is vital in maintaining continuity in students’ learning and upholding the high standards and expectations of the school.

Gillingham School will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children.
