Most Gillingham School applicants will have applied through our internal processes during Year 11, which provides access to the full range of subject choices.

Timeline:

• Friday 19th December Deadline for your first choice of subjects
• October/November Year 11 students were scheduled an interview with a member of the Sixth Form Team. Students discussed their plans, and subject choices.
• November Students will be sent a link to Options Online to select their subject choices.
• May Before the Year 11 exams A letter will be sent confirming whether you have a provisional place in Sixth Form.

Timeline:

• Upon receipt of your application, we will consider your predicted grades and request a reference from your current school.  We will then contact you to discuss your application and, if appropriate, send you an offer letter.
• You will then be invited to join our Sixth Form Mixer events, which take place in the spring and summer terms, giving you an opportunity to meet other new students and the Sixth Form Team.
• Later in the year, you will also be invited to our Induction Day to help you feel confident and ready to join us in the Autumn.
• We look forward to hearing from you and supporting you on your journey into our Sixth Form.
