Vacancy Gillingham School Caretaker

Required from September 2026, an organised, adaptable and proactive sixth form administrator to join our Sixth Form team. This key role involves assisting with the administrative processes that underpin student success and supporting the smooth running of our study spaces. Alongside the sixth form team, the role also includes communicating with and supporting our students with their administrative and pastoral needs as they progress through sixth form.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising Sixth Form study rooms to ensure a productive and respectful working environment conducive to effective independent study
  • Monitoring of student attendance, including accurate recording, follow-up and reporting
  • Providing general administrative support to the Sixth Form team, including data entry
  • Contributing to the provision of good administrative and pastoral support for our sixth form students
  • Effective communication with students, staff and parents
